Stereolithography (SLA)

Stereolithography (Also known as SLA) is the most widely used rapid prototyping technology. The overwhelming advantage of stereolithography is the ability to create high quality, fine detailed parts with amazing aesthetic qualities in a short turnaround time.

The Viper Si2 SLA with dual-spot technology has the highest accuracy and surface finish of all SLA machines. We have the capability of build layers from .006" to as thin as .001" as well as laser spot sizes of .010" and .003".

Since the invention of stereolithography in 1986, the industry has made large improvements both in machinery and materials. Stereolithography resins are now made to mimic a wide array of production plastics such as ABS, Polypropylene, and Polycarbonate. Stereolithography (SLA) parts can be used for a number of different types of applications.
