Finding the right prototyping solution can feel daunting.  We understand the complexity of all the possible offerings.  We take the time to fully understand your project needs.  Our quotes provide detailed options so that we can discuss with you the pros and cons of each option and allow you to make an educated decision.

3D Printing Service Offerings

Choose a technology

SLA Prototype Brush

The stereolithography process uses a vat of liquid UV-curable resin and a UV laser to build parts one layer at a time.

FDM

FDM Prototypes

The FDM process uses thermoplastic-based materials extruded onto a build tray layer by layer.

PolyJet

The Polyjet process jets layers of UV-curable photopolymer onto a build tray layer by layer.

ABOUT 3D PRINTING

3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing, is a broad term.  It encompasses many different technologies.

All of those technologies use a computer control to deposit, join or solidify material, typically layer by layer, to generate a three dimensional object.

A key advantage of 3D printing is the ability to produce very complex shapes or geometries. Some that would be impossible to create by hand, including hollow parts or parts with internal structures.

Example technologies include Stereolithography (SLA), Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) also known as Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) and Selective Laser Sintering (SLS).

3D PRINTED RAPID PROTOTYPES

Prototyping is a smart step in the product development process for designers and manufacturers striving to take their best product to market quickly and economically.

Most importantly, prototyping provides an opportunity to hold the product in your hand and determine first hand if it meets all your needs.

Different materials and/or technologies can be used depending on your stage of the design process.  For this reason, our staff can assist  no matter where you are in the process.

Best of all, since your product is created digitally, you no longer need to dread modifications.

3D Printing FAQS

Using 3D printing allows designers to rapidly iterate between digital designs and physical prototypes reducing the time to production.  It provides unlimited freedom in product design, doesn’t require tooling, can can produce parts with mechanical properties closely matching traditional manufacturing materials.

3D printing is used by designers and engineers to create prototypes facilitating the design and development process.

3D printed prototypes are cost effective and enable designers to create dozens of affordable prototypes with quick turnaround.  Minimizing the time it takes to get a product into production.
